Salwa Zeidan Gallery was first opened in Abu Dhabi in 1994 and reopened again in January 2009 under the Patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan.
The Gallery serves as a contemporary art space that acts as a platform for internationally recognized and Middle Eastern artists, and as an incubator for emerging talents from the UAE and the greater Gulf region.
In addition to nurturing local talent, the gallery has become renowned for its selective representation of some of the region’s most prominent artists.
The gallery regularly curates independent and collaborative exhibitions with other eminent international galleries and curators to showcase paintings, sculptures, photography, installations and performance art, and organize cultural workshops and poetry reading sessions.
